Only as much help as you want

Keep a little mystery.

Start with the gentlest clue, or go straight to the route below.

01A gentle nudge

Look beyond Kakariko Village, where the royal family’s history is carved in stone.

02A clearer direction

The largest tomb at the back of the Graveyard has a familiar symbol in front of it. A royal melody is the key.

03The final clue

Stand on the Triforce mark and play Zelda’s Lullaby. The song you came for is written at the far end of the tomb below.

Ready when you areThe complete route

Play Zelda’s Lullaby at the Royal Family’s Tomb in Kakariko Graveyard. Defeat the Keese, pass the ReDeads and inspect the final inscription to learn the Sun’s Song.

  1. Open the royal tomb

Walk to the large tombstone at the back of the Graveyard. Stand on the Triforce symbol and play Zelda’s Lullaby. Drop through the opening revealed by the lightning.

  2. Clear the first room

Defeat all four Keese to release the door. The Slingshot makes this easier from a distance. Continue up the steps.

  3. Cross without a fight

The next chamber contains ReDeads and harmful green pools. Keep to safe ground and give the ReDeads space; defeating them is not required to reach the inscription.

  4. Read, then return

Check the stone inscription in the final chamber to learn the song. Play it on the return journey to stun the ReDeads, then use the entrance’s return pad.

A practical reward

The Sun’s Song changes day to night or night to day in suitable outdoor areas. It can also temporarily freeze ReDeads, giving you room to move.

N64 buttons

Play C-Right, C-Down, C-Up, then repeat. Learning the melody in the tomb matters; knowing the button sequence alone does not unlock it.

Check it off when you have the reward.
